On today’s episode of The Hot Mic with Jeff and John, presented by Above the Line, hosts Jeff Sneider and John Rocha discuss the big news that James Gunn will run DC Studios alongside Peter Safran, as well as the confirmation that Damon Lindelof is writing a Star Wars movie.
Jeff and John also break some Marvel news, as the studio is assembling a writers room for a Vision Quest series starring Paul Bettany, while Doctor Doom is not expected to be the villain in the Fantastic Four movie, though the character will be introduced late in the film.
The guys also discuss the glowing reactions from the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and why they aren’t to be entirely trusted, as well as the new Sausage Party series and Paramount’s FYC gaffe regarding Babylon‘s acting category placements.
