With the Tuesday morning news that Marvel has delayed the start of production on Blade in an effort to get the script right, Disney has announced a slew of release dates.
Blade is moving from Nov. 3, 2023 to Sept. 6, 2024 — the day that Deadpool 3 was going to hit theaters. That profane sequel, which will star Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, will now hit theaters on Nov. 8, 2024.
Deadpool 3 replaces the new Fantastic Four on the calendar, so Matt Shakman‘s reboot is now slated for release on Feb. 14, 2025. That date had been reserved for an untitled Marvel movie, which has now been pushed to Nov. 7, 2025.
Finally, Avengers: Secret Wars is moving from Nov. 7, 2025 to May 1, 2026, replacing an untitled Marvel movie on that date.
